Following a six-year academic career in behavioral research, Jeff’s business career now exceeds 30 years. In addition to public accounting, he has worked as a Systems Analyst, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer. He currently focuses on tax and estate planning, retirement planning, and small business consulting.
Jeff graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley and earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. He is a director and officer of the international charity Better Lives, a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Estate Planning and Trust Council of Long Beach, and the CHE Global Network.
The son of a CPA, Jeff lives in Seal Beach with his wife Laurie; college graduate kids Micah and Ashley have left the nest empty and happy. He realizes that personal finance pales in comparison to personal relationships in complexity, risk and reward.
